Spanish ‘Language and Culture Immersion’ Course

GENERAL SPANISH COURSE IN GROUP (20 HOURS/WEEK)

All levels are taught in this course, from A1 to C2, in accordance with the ‘Cervantes Institute’ and the ‘Common European Framework of Reference for Languages’ parameters.

It consists of four daily lessons of 55 minutes each, where all the skills are worked on: comprehension and production of both written and spoken language.

Objectives: to improve the general language proficiency by interacting with other students.

LUNCH WITH YOUR TEACHER (7.5 HOURS/WEEK)

After each morning lesson, the student will enjoy a meal with one of their teachers at a restaurant near the school.

This is the moment to enjoy our cuisine and talk with a professional who will help you improve your communication skills in a more relaxed environment.

Meal duration: hour and a half

PRIVATE LESSONS WITH SPECIFIC GOALS (15 HOURS/WEEK)

After lunch, it is time for private lessons, where the student will work on their specific objectives and interests. These lessons focus on any topic you choose since it is about personalized lessons, lasting three hours a day.

Some of our programs you can work on during this part: Spanish for doctors, business Spanish, specific preparation of official exams (DELE, A-Levels, GCSE, Spanish business of the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid), program “A la carte” where you can choose any topic of your interest.

We design the program to your needs.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES (2 HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES PER WEEK).

We have reserved a time for cultural activities which complement the Spanish program.

We want the student to practice their Spanish outside of the classroom and also get to know the Spanish culture, which is fundamental to understand and speak a language: these activities can range from:

  • Guided Tours around Madrid
  • Museum Visits
  • Wine Tasting
  • Walk around and discover Madrid’s Taverns (pubs)

The program consists of two weekly activities of one hour and ten minutes each, which you will do with a Spanish teacher.

CULTURAL LESSON (1 HOUR AND TEN MINUTES PER WEEK)

In the cultural class we analyze aspects of interest concerning the Spanish culture: festivities, holidays, art, society, sports …

MENTORING (1 HOUR AND TEN MINUTES PER WEEK)

The class is focused on preparing, together with the teacher, an oral presentation which the student will present later.

ORAL PRESENTATION (1 HOUR AND TEN MINUTES PER WEEK)

The student will make an oral presentation about a topic which they have chosen or that their Spanish teacher has recommended.
