Host families are families that open their homes to share it with students of other nationalities as one of their family. They share with him their Spanish traditions, foods, habits and education. A university residence is a center that provides accommodation for university students. When university residences offer cultural, academic, religious or sports activities, in addition to accommodation and meals, they are called ‘colegios mayores’.

Located in the district of Moncloa, in the northwest of the city, the building is just a few meters from Madrid’s main university schools (faculties): Complutense of Madrid, Polytechnic, San Pablo (CEU), Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI-ICADE), CUNEF and IE Business School, among others. With the Metro Station “Vicente Aleixandre” (Line 6) at your door step, only two metro stops away from Paraninfo Academy (Argüelles).
Whether you come for a short time or if you come for the whole year, it is a perfect option. All our residences are just ten minutes from our school, either on foot or by public transport, in the Complutense university area of Madrid in the Arguelles-Moncloa neighborhood.

What are hostels
The hostel is a lower category hotel establishment than the hotel, but nowadays no less comfortable or with fewer services than a conventional hotel. Being lower category than a hotel, the prices are cheaper.
Academia Paraninfo has agreements with various hostels.
